Lucy lived in what is now know as Sicily at the time when Christians
were

bother
with a suitor which she didn't want to have anything to do with and
she rejected him and he
accused her of being a Christian. So she was
arrested and
executed in Syracuse Sicily in 304 A.D. she kept her virginity
and her name means light
and her feast day is December 13th.
