Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of Margaret Ward, nee Clarke, sister of Teresa Gaffney, whose funeral will take place in Drumavaddy on Monday next.

Your prayers are also requested for Bernie Smith, brother of Bridie Hyland, who died in England.

 

In view of restrictions to numbers that may attend Masses, only one intention will be accepted for Masses celebrated in Drumavaddy and Crosskeys.

It would be appreciated if all family intentions were included on one date, rather than on various dates throughout the year, to facilitate everyone.

          

Please bring your refuse home from the cemeteries in Crosskeys and Drumavaddy. Old wreaths and flowers should not be thrown about.

SOSAD Cavan  run a Suicide Bereavement Support Group every second Monday from 7pm to 9pm in the Farnham Hotel, Cavan town.

This group is for anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament  in Crosskeys Church on each Tuesday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.   New members are being sought to do an hour’s adoration, preferably between 1.00pm and 2.00pm and 2.00pm and 3.00pm.  If you can attend please telephone 087-2549960

 

Cuan Cancer Support Centre is a social support and wellness group for anyone who has had a cancer diagnosis and their family members. We offer a free and confidential counselling service to our service users & their families by appointment (currently done via phone). Cuan also offers various workshops via zoom; guided meditation and questions & answers sessions on a variety of complimentary therapies are on offer in May. Kilmore Diocesan Online Pilgrimage to Knock, will take place on Sunday, the 20th of June. As capacity for public Masses at Knock Basilica is currently restricted to 200 people, pilgrims are welcome to join the afternoon ceremonies from their homes again this year. Bishop Martin Hayes will lead the diocesan pilgrimage. 

The schedule for the afternoon will include the praying of the Rosary at 2.30pm, followed by Mass and Benediction at 3.00pm. The Pilgrimage will be live-streamed on www.knockshrine.ie/watch-live and on Radio Maria (Saorview TV Channel 210) .
