The end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy.

The end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy will be marked in dioceses throughout the world on Sunday 20th November except in Rome where it will be celebrated on Sunday November 27th. On Sunday next in the Cathedral there will be a Mass of thanksgiving and closing of the Holy Door.

Pastoral Council:

We will have a meeting of the Pastoral Council tomorrow evening Mon 14th November in Drumavaddy sacristy, at 8:30pm. As the next step in the process we need to put in place a new Chairperson and Secretary as we will have to nominate people to represent us on the Diocesan Pastoral Council. We need to be able to send the names of the officers of the Parish Pastoral Council for 2016-2020 to the Pastoral Centre, Cavan. by 23rd  November 2016.

Pastoral Council:

Throughout the diocese the New Pastoral Councils will be commissioned at Mass on First Sunday of Advent, this is a short service which will take only a few minutes and it can replace the creed.

Annual Mass.

 Mass for deceased priests and bishops of the diocese, which takes place after the November Conference at 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 16th November in the chapel of the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan. All welcome.

Indoor Camogie:

Will continue on Mon evening next 7th Nov 6-7pm for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Class ,

 7-8pm for 4th, 5th & 6th Class. Cash for Clobber Clothing Collection-anyone with unwanted clothing please donate them to the club: Bags can be dropped in Drumavaddy any Monday at Camogie training or Crosskeys pitch beside Gym and evening. For more information contact 087-9420001.
