The annual safeguarding newsletter will be available that weekend and you are encouraged to take a copy and inform yourself of developments in safeguarding.

 

Cavan Alzheimer Society are forming a new choir The Garden Singers in the HSE Day Centre, Cathedral Road, Cavan on the first Sunday of every month at 11am till noon starting Sunday the 1st September . The Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in all public hospitals nationwide. Volunteers will need their own car but all expenses are paid. If you have 2 free days a month (Monday – Friday) and an active email address we would love to hear from you. The Irish Cancer Society’s, Strides for Life is a walking programme developed for people recovering from cancer treatment. It is organised by Cuan Cavan Cancer Support Centre and will start in September. It will take place in the grounds of the Farnham Estate Spa Hotel. Family members or friends are also welcome.
