Denn Camogie. Congratulations to our U-16 Camogie Team on winning both League & Championship Camogie Finals this year. They had a comprehensive victory over Laragh on Thursday evening last. Final score Denn 6-10 Laragh 1-02. 

 

Camogie All Ireland Final 

Denn will play Na Brídeoga, Co. Mayo. in the All Ireland Final on Sunday 24th November at 2pm in Athleague, Co Roscommon. Your club and parish are very proud. It is an amazing achievement so get those flags flying and support them in their quest for All Ireland Silverware. 

Thanks to all businesses and personnel who have  supported and donated to our All Ireland Final journey. Greatly appreciated & we urge you all to support our local businesses. 

A special mass will be held at 11.00am on Saturday next 23rd November, ahead of All Ireland Final Day in Crosskeys. All are welcome to attend. 

 

Age and opportunity. Social evening on 20th November. 2.00 – 5.00pm.

Mass at 3.00pm for deceased members. Usual buses.

The annual Christmas party will take place on Sunday 8th December.

The Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in all public hospitals nationwide. Volunteers will need their own car but all expenses are paid. If you have 2 free days a month (Monday – Friday) and an active email address we would love to hear from you.  A new Suicide Bereavement Support Group has been established to address this need for support of those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The group, led by a trained and experienced facilitator. Thank you to everyone who supported the Denn Community Funday 2019. As before community groups who helped organise and run the event benefited from the proceeds on the day. This year, 6 community groups received €340 each – Denn Camogie, Denn Running Club, Denn Age & Opportunity, Crosskeys NS, Denn Juvenile Football & Denn GFC. Workshop for singers and musicians in preparation for Advent and Christmas. Fr. Charlie O'Gorman, Diocesan Director of Church Music, will lead a choir workshop for singers and musicians in preparation for Advent and Christmas in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan, on Wednesday 20 November 2019 beginning at 7:30p.m.  The format of the workshop will be similar to an ordinary choir practice with a manageable amount of material that those attending can learn on the night and bring back to their parishes.  All are welcome.
