Meeting of Families.

Masses Over the last 30 months we have had 34 funerals and this leaves us with a lot of M.M.M., First, Second and subsequent anniversaries. If we are to accommodate the most recently bereaved with a weekend mass, if that is their wish could we agree that after seven years we could vacate our annual mass to another? Obliviously in the case of a tragic death seven years may not be sufficient grieving time.

This extract was taken from 27th February 2016.

Now 2 years later we have arrived at a figure of 67 funerals. So we will hope that some families will vacate their weekend mass to facilitate those who have been recently bereaved. During the course of the year Drumavaddy has 168 evening masses and Crosskeys has 52 Sunday masses, 52 evening masses and 104 weekday masses at 9:30am.
