Parish Pastoral Council:
At our meeting of the
Parish Pastoral Council on Monday night last, one of the items we had to
consider was the Papal Visit. Now the organisers for the visit believe that
huge numbers of people will be needed to carry off this international event.
Helpers could be asked to stay for the three days. For people who like these kind of events it will be challenging and interesting. The
jobs to be performed on the occasion will vary so if you would like to get
involved please let your pastoral council member know and we can forward the
names to Fr. Ultan McGoohan
c/o Pastoral Centre and he will send it off to the Archbishop's House in Drumcondra.
Summer Camps for the Youth in our Diocese:
The Camp is in Cavan
Institute, Cavan town from July 3rd to July 7th. Each day
will
begin at 10am. and finish at
4pm. Upon completion of each camp, we will throw a 'Backpack Bash' for the
teenagers. The team will be delivering elements from 'The Backpack' curriculum
over the course of five days and there will be interactive activities and games
throughout the week. The Diocesan Summer Camps are open to any teenagers
between the ages of 13 and 18. Contact

the Diocese go on retreat these days.
Eucharistic Adoration: This is the greatest
blessing after Holy Mass. Presently we
need two people 12-1pm to keep Jesus company in Crosskeys Church. If you can do so for a couple of weeks it would be
much appreciated.
