World Wide Meeting of Families: Please support the Second National Collection
for World Wide Meeting of Families which will be taken up on the weekend of 1st
& 2nd of April. Pope Francis has personally chosen Dublin to be
the first diocese for the World Meeting of Families.
Planning for this great national and inter-nation celebration of faith is well
underway. Hosting this important event requires an enormous amount of planning
and funding. In this regard a second national collection will be held on the
weekend of 1st & 2nd April 2017. Your support for
this collection would be greatly appreciated.
Youth Minister:
Last year a youth
minister was appointed in the diocese in response to a request at the last
Diocesan Assembly. To fund this ministry it's hoped to have a collection during
Confirmation on April 7th in Drumavaddy.
This collection was introduced last year & is taken up at all Confirmation
ceremonies throughout the diocese.

Croagh Patrick to Ballinagh
Challenge 2017: Registration will
take place in Cronin's Bar, Ballinagh on Sunday March
26th 7-9pm.
Castlerahan/Denn Ladies Football Club: Registration is taking place for the year in
B.J.D. Clubrooms between 7pm-7:30pm on Tue 22nd March. New players
wishing to register to play football for the coming year can contact Ciara 086-1073128 or Sinead 087-9195394. Registration for
U10 is €20 and all others €35.
Club Membership: 2017 Club Membership is now due. In order to be entitled to the
rights of a full member, a person must have their fees paid to the club. Rates
are the same as in 2016. Adult membership is €40 and Student / Under 18 is €20.
Anyone that uses the club's facilities, even if it is only walking around the
pitch must be fully paid up members to be insured. Social membership is also
available. Individual social membership: €15 & Family social membership: €30. Contact any committee member.
