Cavan Calling is a global Cavan Homecoming taking place in August 2020 where the many people and groups worldwide with an affinity for the county will be invited to Cavan for a celebration of our shared heritage. Cavan County Council would like to invite interested members of Cavan communities to attend an information evening on the festival and on how they may access grants to support the running of Cavan Calling events across the county. The information event will take place in the Hotel Kilmore on Thursday 23rd January 2020 at 8.00pm and all are welcome to attend.

Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Crosskeys will not take place on Christmas Eve, but will be recommenced on New Year’s Eve 10am – 6.00pm

 

Tree of remembrance.  For those who have children/young adults who will be living abroad this Christmas, you can write their name on the gift tag and hang it on the branch. In this way they can be present to you during the Christmas season and they will know we are all thinking of them.

 

Crosskeys Camogie Club. Indoor Camogie will resume in the New Year - Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and New Year. Your support throughout the year was greatly appreciated. 

 

Denn Golden Jubilee Celebrations We are delighted to end the year on a high on December 28th in the Carraig Springs, when our U21 Players will receive their medals from the Spring League Competition. The newly elected Caothairleach Cloister Breffni Raghallaigh Denn own's Kieran Callaghan will present the Medals on the night.  We will also have a number of other presentations on the night, so as we close the door on our Golden Jubilee year as a club, we embrace a new decade with great optimism.

Sun. 22nd Dec. at 5pm in Cavan Town. All types of vehicles Lorries, Cars, Tractors, Vans etc. welcome. Entry Fee €20 per vehicle. Registration from 1pm at the Equestrian Centre. Refreshments and entertainment. Lighting up of Remembrance Tree at 5.30pm at the Courthouse, Cavan.
