Safe-Guarding Sunday: Takes place next Sunday. Our annual Safe Guarding Sunday will be held weekend 3/4 June. The purpose of Safe Guarding Sunday is to create awareness of Safe Guarding in our parishes and diocese. It recognizes the significant contribution of the faithful in ensuring that our Diocesan Safe Guarding Policies are being adhered to.

The Backpack Program:

We are very happy to announce another training day for Kilmore Diocese will be taking place on the 10th June from 10am to 2pm. in St. Patrick's College, Cavan. These training days are open to anyone in the Kilmore Diocese who would like to learn more about The Backpack Program and how they might be able to introduce it to their parish, school or family.

Summer Camps for the Youth in our Diocese:

Each summer camp will take place at a different venue in the diocese. this will ensure that travel is not a major impediment for the teenagers.

The Camp is in Cavan Institute, Cavan town from July 3rd to July 7th.

Each day will begin at 10am. and finish at 4pm. Upon completion of each camp, we will throw a 'Backpack Bash' for the teenagers. The team will be delivering elements from The Backpack curriculum over the course of five days and there will be interactive activities and games throughout the week. The Diocesan Summer Camps are open to any teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18.  Contact no 083-4877325 or email thebackpackprogram.life@gmail.com.
