Feast Day of Joachim and Ann, the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus
and so this is the feast day of grandparents. It reminds grandparents of their
responsibility to establish a tone for generation to come. It also was a
message for the younger generation as well. It reminds the young that older
people greater perspective depth of experience and appreciation of life's
profound rhythms are all part of a wisdom not to be
taken lightly or ignored. The capacity for grandparents to influence their grandchildren
for good is unlimited. So to all grandparents keep up the good work.
