Congratulations to Denn Senior Camogie team who beat Ballinagh comprehensively in the Intermediate Final on Saturday, and is now through to an Ulster Final on October 12th. Well done to Emer Tierney who was awarded player of the Match. 


Cavan Alzheimer Society are forming a new choir The Garden Singers in the HSE Day Centre, Cathedral Road, Cavan on the first Sunday of every month at 11am till noon starting Sunday the 1st September . The Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in all public hospitals nationwide. Volunteers will need their own car but all expenses are paid. If you have 2 free days a month (Monday – Friday) and an active email address we would love to hear from you. Pre-Marriage Courses. It is a prerequisite for all couples, hoping to be married, that they attend a Pre-Marriage Course. ACCORD Pre Marriage Courses will take place in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, The Conaty Centre, Cullies, Cavan H12 E5C7 on the following dates in 2020:

February 28th/29th ,  March 27th/28th, September 25th/26th,  October 23rd/24th

The Children’s Remembrance Event 2019 will take place in Kilmore Cathedral,

 Kilmore Lower, Cavan, H12FK10. On Sunday 13th October at 3pm.

 Anyone affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy, or throughout the childhood years, is welcome to attend this afternoon of remembering through music and reflection.
