All-Night Vigil at Knock Shrine December 7th – 8th 2018

The annual All-Night Vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Friday 7th - Saturday 8th December. The Vigil Ceremonies will commence with Confessions from 10pm in the Chapel of Reconciliation and Vigil at 12 Midnight in the Basilica with Rosary, Stations of the Cross and Holy Hour with Fr Brendan Walsh SCA.

Concelebrated Mass will take place at 4am with His Excellency Archbishop Okolo, Papal Nuncio. Information on organised coaches can be found at www.knockshrine.ie

Congratulations to our own Mark Fegan and Cavelle Keogan on their selection on the Junior All Star Team for 2018. The will be presented with their awards at the County Awards Night in the Hotel Kilmore on Friday night 30th November.

 

Drumavaddy Youth Club are holding a Christmas Disco on Friday the 7th of December at 7.00pm in Drumavaddy Community Centre. Special guest Santa will arrive at 7.30pm.

Admission : €8 per child. A parent or guardian is asked to remain with their child/children for supervision purposes.

 

A Holy Hour and talk by Anne, a lay apostle will take place on Thursday 6th December at 7pm in Tearmann Anama (formerly Kilnacrott Abbey) Ballyjamesduff. This a monthly event and takes place on the first Thursday of every month. All welcome!

 

The Backpack will host a Christmas Bash for youth in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre on December 16th, from 1pm-6pm. This event is open to anyone between the ages of 13-18. The day will include a workshop on building resilience, games, a Youth Mass, and a pizza party. Each guest will receive a Christmas present!
