Camogie Camogie Club. 

Thanks to all our supporters who travelled in huge numbers to our All Ireland Final in Roscommon last Sunday, and to everyone who donated so kindly to our journey, Denn Camogie Club appreciates this very much. 

Although things didn’t go our way on Sunday, we as a club we are proud of reaching this level and proud of our achievements throughout the year.

Primary School Div 1 Shield, Junior B League, U-16 Div 1 League and Championship, Intermediate Champions, Ulster Champions and All Ireland Finalists with the minor competition still in operation. 

To the girls for their commitment throughout the year - you are amazing.

Flower arranging, Christmas wreaths etc. Classes will take place in the Resource Centre, Crosskeys, Thursday 28th November and 5th December at 8.00pm. Contact Kathleen at (087) 9461185 to book a place. Denn Toddler Playgroup will hold its AGM in Crosskeys Resource Centre on the 2nd of December at 8.30pm. All are welcome. 

 

Age and opportunity. The annual Christmas party will take place between 2-7pm on Sunday 8th December. Usual Buses. All are welcome.

 

 An Advent Service of Carols and Readings will take place in The Conaty Chapel of the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan, on the First Sunday of Advent, 1 December 2019, at 5:30p.m., featuring the Cavan Rugby Club Male Voice Choir. All are welcome to attend this special event.  A voluntary collection will be taken up to support the work of the Sleep Out Cavan Initiative. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

 

The Alzheimer support group’s next meeting takes place in the Bridge street Day Centre, Bridge St, Cavan on Thursday 5th of December at 8pm. Further information contact Carole 0872240963,or Claire 0852562482.

The Garden choir takes place this Sunday 1st of December from 11 am till 12 noon in the John Sullivan day centre, Cathedral rd, Cavan . People suffering from dementia & their families are very welcome. Or anyone who likes a good old sing along is welcome.

 

Cavan County Museum invites you and your guest to an afternoon of Music, Song and Stories on Sunday 1st December 2019 at 3 p.m. This event is free of charge.
