Confirmation:
Confirmation will be
administered on Friday 16th March at 6pm. For the last number of
years a collection has been taken up at all Confirmation ceremonies throughout
the diocese. This collection is taken up to help finance the Diocesan Youth
Minister.
St. Patrick's Day:
The mass of the vigil
of St. Patrick will be at 8pm to enable me to get there on time.
World Meeting of Families:
Thanks to all those
who brought in the collection envelope for the World Meeting of Families. Perhaps
those who forgot can find the envelope in their packet. The estimate for the
cost of the visit is €20,000,000 but Norah Casey has taken on the task of
raising €15,000,000. Beat that!
Down Syndrome:
If you were to travel
the length and breadth of England you would see very few Down Syndrome
Teenagers, the reason for this is that 90% of babies with Down Syndrome are aborted before they get a chance to live. A
dreadful statistic, imagine being killed like this.

Pro-Life: A major Pro-Life rally has been arranged to take place in Dublin on
March 10th. a Bus will leave Cavan Bus
office at 10am Saturday morning March 10th. Please book in time by
phone 087-2549960 to facilitate in accommodating all who are interested in
travelling.
Camogie: Fundraising quiz and medal presentation on Saturday
March 10th at 9pm in Crosskeys

Registrar of Marriages in order to have your marriage registered civilly. The

Cuan Cavan Cancer Support Centre: The Cuan Cavan
Cancer Support Centre is now open; Mon, Wed & Fri, 10-1pm and 2-4pm at Keadue, Cavan (near the
Cathedral) This service is available to all Cancer patients and their family
members, where they can avail of our free confidential service (by appointment)
