A public meeting: will be held in
the Community Centre, Drumavaddy on Friday 12th October at 9pm to
discuss the Trusteeship of St, Mathews Community Park in Crosskeys (The
"old" Pitch) which has not been attended to for a long period of time
and needs to be dealt with and updated as a matter of urgency. It is vital that
all organisations with an interest in the Park, and individuals from our
community attend this meeting.

Museum Lecture Series 2018 ‘A
fiddler and a poet’ : SONGS OF ROBERT BURNS by
Dr. Fred Freeman on Wednesday 10th October at 8 p.m. For over 200
years Burns has been misrepresented as Scotland’s national ‘poet’, yet he was
primarily a song-writer, composing upwards of 400 songs. Everyone
welcome.

Cloud
We are hoping to set up a food cloud in the
extended Kilnaleck area. FoodCloud
aims to help communities across Ireland ensure that no good food goes to waste
where peopleare going hungry. The service brings
volunteers, food businesses and charities together to rescue surplus food from
local food businesses and deliver it to those who
need
