The 3 Parishes, Castlerahan, Lavey & Denn have Francisan sisters of Africa visiting this weekend.

In  a recent article in the Irish Catholic David Quinn explained what he referred to as Cultural Catholicism - by Cultural Catholicism is meant the willingness to still identify as Catholics even when your religious practice is very irregular. Cultural Catholics are those who don't attend mass weekly or even monthly but still want their children baptised, still want their children to get married in church and still want a church funeral. They might also turn up for Mass on the likes of Christmas Day or Easter Sunday.

Lavey fund raiser: Requesting people from the surrounding areas to attend  a fund raising meeting  in the Lavey Inn on Mon night the 9th July, at 9:30pm for Declan Ferguson Lavey.

Date for your Diary - 3rd-5th August will see Drumavaddy Festival of the Hills taking place along with the Community Fun Day on Sunday 5th taking place in Crosskeys. More details will be available soon.

Adoration: For the summer will take place in the Main Church from 6pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday evening.
